Tri-County Run

Update #1 (April 9, 2013)

This is one event where you may want to come early. The world famous (as long as your world only includes Wisconsin) "Princeton Flea Market" will be open. After you have toured the Flea Market you may want to consider lunch and here you have multiple choices. The Princeton Youth Sports will have the Flea Market food booth, the American Legion on Hwy 23 will have their famous Brat Fry, and there are three restaurants, Judy's on Hwy 23, Jillian's on Hwy 23 and Once in a Blue Moon downtown.

At high noon we will meet at the Downtown Princeton Parking Lot. This is on South Farmers street which is on the east side of downtown. Here we will take care of all the formalities.

At 1:00 PM, the Honorable Robert Mosolf, the Mayor of Princeton, will escort us out of town.

The first leg of our ride will be Green Lake County. Here we will ride around Green Lake which will include Downtown Green Lake. We will stop at the Margaret Dodge Memorial Park for a closer look at the lake and, if needed, there are accommodations.

The second leg of our ride will be Marquette County, Here we will ride by Lake Puckaway and meander through Amish Country. Our plan is to stop in downtown Montello where there is an Ice Cream shop and the Granite Park Waterfall.

The final leg will be Waushara County. This is sure to be a nice way of ending our ride. The curving roads will take us by lakes and rivers where we will end up in Wautoma.

If you would like to make the evening last, Silvercryst's lounge has a live band. "Cold Hand Cash".

They also have a hotel if you prefer to drive home Sunday.
