Update #1 (Dec 17, 2012)

The past three years, we have gone to National Miata Event in different parts of the USA. In 2013 we will travel to The Dalles, Oregon (on the Columbia River) to attend the Willamette Valley Miata Club EXPLORE OREGON, and invite you to come with us. We can visit Mt. Rainier NP, Mt. St. Helen NP and Crater Lake NP before the event, if you wish, as we are still in the planning stages and would like to hear from you.

After the event we can head for California to visit Lassen Volcano NP, Yosemite NP, Kings Canyon NP, Sequoia NP, and Death Valley NP, and then pick up CA Route 66, if you wish, and head for home.

Update #2 (Mar 28, 2013)

The 4 members going to this event will be taking different routes to The Dalles and returning home. The McCann's route is provided here. All are welcome to join all or part of the route.

Update #3 (April 21, 2013)

Jim and Marcy are planning their trip to The Dalles, OR in July. They invite anyone to join them on any part of the journey.

We are leaving Thursday morning, July 4th. We will spend July 7th through 10th in and around Yellowstone NP. On Thursday, July 11th we arrive at the Explore Oregon rally and stay through Sunday morning, July 14th. We arrive in the Mt. Rushmore/Deadwood area on Monday, July 15th and will stay 4 nights. We return home on Saturday, 7/20, mid-afternoon.
