Update #2 (March 13, 2015) Want to get your feet wet? Want to test your sailing skills? Then join the fleet as we set sail to the Port of Bayfield. Friday, Aug. 28 We will meet at the Best Western Inn, located at 2835 S. Main St. in Rice Lake and leave for dinner by 5:30 pm. Directions: Best Western Inn Traverse Hwy 53 to Rice Lake, taking exit 140 (Co. Trunk O). Head east to the last stoplight at the intersection of Co. O and Main St. (aka Co. SS). The Best Western Inn is on the SE corner of this intersection. Saturday, Aug. 29 We will leave Rice Lake at 9:00 am and arrive in Bayfield between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. A block of 20 rooms have been set aside for Saturday night at the Winfield Inn, located on the north end of Bayfield on Hwy 13. Call them at 715-779-3252, by June 29 to make your reservation, mentioning the Badgerland Miata Club. The rate is $144 plus tax. Saturday night we will be dining at the Steak Pit in Washburn at 5:30 pm. We will order off of a limited menu, with individual billing. Sunday, Aug. 30 There are no club events scheduled. It's a day on your own to explore this beautiful area, or to head home.
