MPTV Channel 10 Auction

Host: Ginger Carney

Update #1 (December 18, 2015)

Badgerland Miata Club will once again participate in The Great TV Auction, Saturday, April 30, 2016, 12:00noon – 4:00pm

As we have done several times before, BMC members will work behind the scenes of The Great TV Auction. We will be taking bids as viewers call in, or staging tables for display, and having a good time. After our shift, we will once again do what BMC members do best besides driving: eat! A relaxing meal at a nice restaurant along with good conversation with BMC friends will be the perfect ending to our busy, fun day.

To sign up, contact Ginger at miatabgc@gmail.com. You will be able to choose where you want to work – the warehouse, staging, or on the phonebank

If you are not familiar with The Channel 10 Great TV Auction, here is MPTV's description:

It "... is a Milwaukee tradition! It is a unique onair fundraising event, which airs live on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10 to Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. New merchandise, certificates, services, art, antiques and collectibles are auctioned off to viewers who bid both by telephone and via the internet. The Auction is also an excellent opportunity for companies, corporations, small businesses and individuals to garner valuable television exposure with our loyal Public Broadcasting audience and devoted Auction fans. The money the Auction raises is used to purchase quality programming and maintain equipment for Milwaukee Public Television. The majority of funding for Milwaukee Public Television comes from community support.
