Indy Cars, Miata's, and more at Road America

Join us on Sunday as the Verizon Indy Car Series takes center stage, as an international lineup of drivers will have their chance to battle it out for glory on one of the world's most majestic road courses. They will be joined by the Pirelli World Challenge featuring many of the world's top sports cars and drivers in an all out wheel-to-wheel battle consisting of six classes headlined by separate GT and GTS races. The Porsche GT Cup class will run alongside the GT and GT-A class cars over the course of the weekend. The Pirelli World Challenge consists of seven classes offering a competitive slot for nearly every sports car and sports sedan available. Races are run in a timed, sprint format from start to finish and begin with the series' trademark standing start. With door-to-door racing, no scheduled pit stops, driver changes and classes running together, it's like watching the intensity of the final lap, every lap.

Here is how our day will begin: We will meet for breakfast at the Odyssey Restaurant, which is located on Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls across from the BMO Harris Bank. We will bw meeting at 7:00 am and after a hearty meal, we will head North on highway 45 to highway 67, where we will traverse some nice twisty roads on our journey to Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. On arrival at the racetrack, we will take the left service road around to the turn 5/6, patio-viewing area. This area will give us an outstanding view of the race cars coming through turn 5, 14, and going up the hill on the straight, and within easy walking distance to turn 6, and the hill where turns 6,7,and 8 can be seen.
